The Perfect Getaway!

 We had an incredible time at Casa del Platero! The location made it easy for us to go back and forth between the beach and house, or grab a taxi to go into town. The view from almost any room in the house was breathtaking, and there were plenty of places for all 8 of us to sit and take it all in. Laco and Mireye were extremely accommodating- whether picking up beer or making dinner they weee always available and willing. We will definitely be back again!

This is simply the best!
Having traveled extensively thru Mexico and visited many beaches, this is by far tops for us. The villa is beautiful, and has the warmth and beauty of  the real Mexico.

The beach, the food, the staff = Paradise!

I just returned from a week in paradise at Casa Del Platero. This beautiful and well appointed home is located on La Ropa Beach in Zihuatanejo Bay. The recently renovated chef's kitchen is well equipped for cooking fresh local fish from the market.  The beach is a very short walk out of the front gate where restaurants and seaside bars are located.  The house has beautiful furnishings and is decorated with original oil paintings. The bonus is the friendly and efficient on-site staff who kept things clean and running smoothly. Lovely stay in a beautiful locale. We plan to return next year!

Trip of A Lifetime

Having been to Zihua. 30+ years ago I was concerned about over development that might have ruined the magnificent bay and the quaint town, the laid-back La Ropa Beach vibe – when we first stepped in the gate, the feeling of "ahhh , it's perfect " told me we had made the right choice. The design of the house takes perfect advantage of the site and the views, with maximum privacy, but always open to views and the wonderful breezes. The pool is wonderful, the staff could not be more friendly and the food was delicious!

"A tropical paradise"
The house is perfectly set up to accommodate more than one group, with a separate apartments. There are several gathering spaces, both indoors and out, and also plenty of places to be private and quiet. The pool is gorgeous and the bay just steps away. The staff at the house is very efficient and friendly.
